DON"T go to paul's. it's the one on the side street by mcdonalds. i got mine
there a few weeks ago and it's alright, but it's kind of spotty in some places,
it's hard to explain. and also, i'm pretty sure he was high on coke when he
gave it to me, so not a fun time... i've heard really good things about the
'good and evil' place though

After living in erie all my life, I haven't heard of any tattoo places downtown
actually... I could be wrong... But i do know of three good places to go...
Budha's, Fat Pat's, and Ink Assassins... I would highly recommend ink assassins
though... There are a number of artists there that do great work and will work
with you to get you exactly the kind of tat you want... It is on the corner of
26th and peach... Just a suggestion...

At Ink Inc....near the Tarot card lady before you get to Hooters.....there
was a guy named "Charlie" that did AWESOME tattoos! Great quality and
alright prices.....since last semster, he's left but maybe if you go there
they'll give you his contact info.
near BioLife) but another one downtown; the one of the guys in there is a
real bone head....he makes girls take of their clothes or fondles them just
because he wants to.....I forget the name of the place but I thought I'd
give you the heads up!

My boyfriend has gotten two tattoos while he's been in school here and he got
both at Custom tattoo on 7th street in altoona. I was there when he got the one
tattoo and I got my nose pierced there too. They are really clean, but make
sure you pay in cash cuz that's the only payment type they take. Also bring
your ID with you (drivers license).
hope this helps

Forgot what the name of the place is but on the corner of Hetzel and Calder
next to Goppers is a good place. The artists there are VERY good. I
recommend them...

My boyfriend and i both got ours at Ink Assassins. He was pleased with his, but
I was not with mine. I had a friend get her's at Buddha's and she was very
pleased with the work and the prices! So I would recommend Buddha's!
