  • Finals schedule 8 Comment(s)

The UCSD finals schedule is available via the Tritonlink website. Typically, finals schedules are available when class schedules are available for the next quarter (Friday of 5th week prior to the quarter in question). The final schedule should also be available by clicking on 'Final Planner' on Webreg. The current link for the finals planner can be found here.

Room assignments for final exams are available by 9th week of the current quarter.

Final exams are customarily administered Monday - Friday, with the exception of Fall 2007. The exam for MWF 4pm classes will be administered on Saturday afternoon.

Are summer session classes harder than normal classes, or do they just seem hard because of how fast they are?

  • Healthy Eating! 7 Comment(s)

To be more nutritionally educated, is to know that consuming large portions of food at night is not the best way to avoid the bulge that college eating can often result in.  Staying up late to write papers in one thing, but eating right before you go to bed is not the healthiest way to maintain your calorie intake.  The best strategy for healthy eating is to consume most of your calories before about 7pm, so you can actively burn them off before you go to sleep and your body shuts down.  Also, eating large portions of food every day is a strain on your wallet.  Eat smaller meals and eat more frequently during the day rather than right before you sleep.  I've noticed that a lot students where I go still talk about eating dinner really late, and how bad that is for their health.  Can anyone offer any other information, or better yet, share any tips for healthier eating strategies that they personally use?

I need a good car mechanic who'll be able to make some minor and not-so-minor repairs. The CarTalk page wasn't terribly helpful, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a trustworthy place?
